だいぶ前から、『shop』と『store』の違いがよくわからなかったので、ちょっと調べてみることにしました。(゜_゜)

shop と store はどう違いますか？

There really isn't to much of a difference.
Store usually refers to a bigger place.
A shop is usually smaller.

大きな違いは本当にありません。
Store は通常大きな場所について言っています。
普通、Shop はより小さいです。

There is no difference between "store" and "shop" when you use the words as a noun in a sentence.

For Example:
"I'm going to the shop"
"I'm going to the store"

Both sentences mean the same thing, but the second one is more natural.
One thing to remember is that "shop" can be used as a verb, not "store".

文章内で名詞として使うとき、"Store"と"Shop"には違いはありません。

例：
"私はお店"Shop"へ行く"
"私はお店"Store"へ行く"

両方の文章は同じことを意味していますが、二番目の文章はより自然です。
覚えるべき一つのことは、"Shop"は動詞として使えますが、"Store"は使えないということです。

※備考
『Store』も動詞がありますが、意味が変わるので使えないって書いているのだと思います。
（確か『保管する』とか言う意味）
Shopは動詞で『買い物に行く』という意味があります。
