ちょっと前から謎だった『子供』系の英単語、『kid』と『children』の違いについて調べてみました。

kid と children はどう違いますか？

kid and children are the same word, basically.
children is plural, and is child when singular.
kid is singular and is kids when plural.
kid was originally a word uses for a baby goat but now people just use it to me human children.
they are pretty much the same word.

Kid と Children は同じ言葉です、基本的には。
Children は複数形で単数のときは child です。
Kid は元々は仔ヤギに使われていた言葉でしたが、人々がそれを人の子供に使っているだけです。
それらはほとんど同じ言葉です。

なんと、『仔ヤギ ＝ Kids』だったとは。(゜_゜)
どちらを使っても良い、ほぼ同じ意味らしいので、どちらでもOKにしようと思います。

そう言えば、『アルプス一万尺、仔山羊の上で』とか言う歌がありましたね。
（今の子達は多分知らない歌）
